Challenges
3.4 million people in America have Epilepsy, a disorder that causes reoccurring seizures. Living with the threat of unpredictable seizures in daily life can greatly disrupt a person's ability to get through the day and causes mental strain.
It can also be hard for Epilepsy patients to accurately track their seizures and symptoms to give doctors accurate information that doctors use for treatment plans.
Solution
Neuro Watch makes living with Epilepsy safer and easier, lessoning some of the burden and giving doctors more data to choose better treatment plans.

Four Weeks
The Design Process
Step One - The Brand
Establishing both the visual and conceptual base for the brand was a crucial step that I completed in the first two week sprint of this project. I started with written and visual research, then moved onto sketching, finalizing a logo, and making edits based on feedback received.
Sprint Two - The App Design
Nuero Watch uses advanced made in wearable technology to accurately track seizures, gaining valuable data and alerting caretakers of in progress seizures. The watch device connects to a mobile application to present analyzed data and to send alerts to caretakers.
The app includes data tracked from the watch as well as a guided quiz to help users take detailed notes that are relevant to doctors. Visualized data is easily accessible to help users understand their patterns and feel more secure with more information and control over their Epilepsy.
Step Three - The Presentation
After creating the app prototypes I was tasked with creating a pitch presentation deck. The presentation starts with a story of what it feels like to have a seizure, then educates the audience on what Epilepsy patients experience and the problems they daily go through, finally ending with the solution and how that will help users.
